Celebrating entrepreneurship

CAMS, a start-up venture , now a two decade plus  institutionally owned organization with over 4000 employees  nurtures entrepreneurial spirit in many ways. In this endeavor CAMS was a key sponsor of TiECON 2015  held in Chennai on October 31st , 2015 at ITC .

TiECON Chennai is the flagship event of The Indus Entrepreneurs (TiE). TiE was founded in 1992 in Silicon Valley by a group of successful entrepreneurs, corporate executives and senior professionals with roots in the Indus region.  A widely known event that TiE hosts annually is the TiECON – the largest professional and networking conference for entrepreneurs. TiECON Chennai is the flagship event , that attracts large audience comprising of business leaders, bankers, VC’s and entrepreneurs as well as students.

CAMS has been actively associated with TiECON to nurture entrepreneurial talent both within and outside the organization. CAMS used the TieCON  2015 platform to invite over 300+ delegates  – a combination of aspiring entrepreneurs, early stage start-up entrepreneurs, faculty from institutions which promote entrepreneurship,  SME business owners and CAMS executives with an inclination towards entrepreneurship.

The main event held on October 31st , 2015 at ITC Grand Chola, Chennai was attended by close to 1300 people. In addition to successful entrepreneurs sharing their experiences, the mega event also presented multiple master class sessions such as outsourcing, customer acquisition, technology business incubator in colleges, lean start-ups and fund raising. The event ended with a session on ‘Entrepreneurial lessons from Rajinikanth’s life’.

As a company focused on technology led innovations , CAMS believes that fostering entrepreneurial spirit is key to innovating.
